Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SiggyHomes collects and processes, and why. Last updated: 11 September 2026.

Who we are

SiggyHomes is part of the Siggy family of apps. It lets you upload photos of a room or home, describe a property, and generates AI concept visuals, indicative cost ranges and renovation ideas. This policy covers the SiggyHomes website and Android app.

What we collect and process

Photos and property details. Photos you choose are resized in your browser and stored locally on your device (in your browser's local storage). They are sent to our AI provider only at the moment you ask Siggy to generate a concept, so the visual and plan can be produced. Property listing links you paste are fetched server-side to import the listing photos and description you asked for. None of this content is published or attached to analytics.

Projects. Your projects — photos, generated concepts, goals, budgets and notes — are stored on your device only. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and they do not follow you to another device.

Anonymous analytics. We record a small set of anonymous events (a page viewed, a project started, a generation requested, succeeded or failed) against a random device identifier and a rolling session identifier generated in your browser. No name, no email, no photo content, and none of the text you type. It exists to improve the product, not to track you across the web.

Credits and payments. Free checks and any extra credit packs you buy are recorded against your anonymous device identifier. If you buy credits, payment is handled by Stripe; we receive a payment session reference and fulfilment status — we never see or store your card details.

Shared results. Only if you choose to share a result, a snapshot (including the paired images) is stored on our servers behind an unguessable link so the person you send it to can view it. Nothing is shared unless you ask.

Accounts. SiggyHomes does not currently offer consumer accounts or require sign-in.

Third-party processors

We use the following providers to run the service:

  • OpenAI — processes the photo and brief you submit to generate the concept image and written plan.
  • Stripe — processes credit-pack payments.
  • Lovable Cloud (database, authentication and hosting) — stores anonymous analytics events, credit balances, payment references, shared-result snapshots and owner-access records.
  • Awin — supplies the DIY product feed shown in Siggy Deals; product links may be affiliate links.

International processing

Some of these providers process data outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where that happens, processing is carried out under the providers' own data-transfer safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Projects and photos on your device are deleted when you clear your browser or app data — you are in control. Anonymous analytics events, credit balances and payment references are kept for as long as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Shared-result snapshots remain until we remove them; you can ask for a shared link to be taken down at any time.

Security

Payment and AI credentials are held server-side and are never exposed to your browser. Access to stored data is restricted and our analytics are designed to avoid collecting personal content.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your name or email, the data we store is tied to a random device identifier rather than to you. If you can tell us that identifier, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the events and records attached to it, and you can delete everything on your device yourself at any time by clearing site data. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Children

SiggyHomes is a home-improvement tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Not advice

Concept images and cost ranges are exploratory. They are not quotes, surveys, valuations, structural advice or planning advice. Get properly qualified help before committing to work.
